Printing methods can transform an ordinary tag into a truly effective management tool. In this case, a rental company uses this three-color tag to sort returned equipment. Each piece being returned is tagged and sent to inspection. In this area, the white part of the tag is filled out with information regarding the equipment’s condition. If damage is evident, the red part of the tag is left on and the equipment is sent to maintenance. If the equipment passes, it is sent back to inventory “Ready to Rent.” This tag utilizes three color printing (black, green, and red) on a white Tyvek® material. |
