Tag Materials

Tag Materials

While the most common material used in the industry is 13 pt. tag stock, 10 pt., 12 pt., and 15 pt. stock papers are sometimes specified. There are, however, many other materials to choose from.

Industrial tags requiring extra durability or high resistance to water and weather are often made from Tyvek®, Vinyl, and other polyvinyl synthetics. Our merchandise and garment tags are often four-color printed on high grade printing papers and carbon and carbonless papers are used to create multi-part or manifold tags.

When designing a tag, it is most important to determine the level of durability, weather resistance and functionality needed when determining the tag material.

Tag Colors

Tag Colors

White and Manila are two of our most popular colors because dark inks show up very well on them and they represent the least expensive paper. We have 19 other standard colors to choose from or we can start with a white tag and flood coat it with almost any PMS color to custom color match to your specifications.
