Many quality assurance procedures require tracking products through each step of the manufacturing process. Quality control teams are often trying to find new ways to move and transfer materials more quickly to cut lead times and increase inventory turnover. Move tags are a great way to help the production process and communicate to employees the next place for parts or products to go, or "move."
At St. Louis Tag, we understand the demands of production. Whether you manage a distribution center, manufacturing facility or warehouse, we are sure to have move tags that work hand-in-hand with your existing QA/QC system.
Our custom printed move tags are made from durable materials to withstand almost any condition – chemicals, grease, operational abuse, weathering, etc. Let us color-code your hang tags with bright, fluorescent colors to allow for easy tracking and more efficient daily operations. Plus, choose from a variety of other options we offer, including:
- Sequential numbering, perforation and multi-part options
- Custom, pre-printed text and fields to provide detailed information
- Optional hole punching with standard fiber reinforcement patches or metal eyelets
- Wire, cotton or elastic string attachments
We offer in-stock tags or we can produce custom printed move tags for certain business needs and requirements. View some of our featured options to see what St. Louis Tag has to offer or Contact Us for more information.

In addition to the 21 standard colors we offer for our tags, we can create virtually any color by flood coating our white tags. We also offer full-color process printing for creating eye-catching designs with fine details.
Tags are typically punched with either 3/16” or 3/8” holes and can be reinforced with fiber patches and/or metal eyelets for securely attaching tags to items.
We offer several standard string materials, including elastic, mercerized cotton, cotton/poly blend, polished cotton twine and a natural option that is similar to jute. These can either be knotted or looped. For more industrial applications, we offer several different types and gauges of metal wire options.
